What You Need for the Perfect Strawberry Mojito
- fresh mint leaves – Fresh is best when it comes to this herb! The mint oils are released as they are muddled, leaving you with a fresh and minty cocktail.
- fresh strawberries – For easier muddling, try slicing the strawberries or cutting them into smaller chunks.
- white rum – white, or silver rum, is the most commonly used liquor for this drink. Honest opinion? A dark rum or silver tequila can put a nice spin on things!
- agave – I don’t always have simple syrup on hand, and don’t always have time to whip up a batch, so I swap in agave instead for a quick sweet fix.
- seltzer water – You can try any flavored seltzer water for an extra zing of flavor, I personally use lime-flavored for this recipe.
- ice cubes
