It’s been a dreary, winter weekend here, so this blackberry tequila smash was the PERFECT cocktail to lift my spirits and bring a little color back into our cocktail menu.
Blackberry Tequila Smash Ingredients

- Granulated sugar and lime zest for rim
Build Up Your Bar
Having the right cocktail tools on-hand to make pretty drinks can bring your hostess status to a whole new level. Here are a few of my favorite bar tools to have in your collection:
- This wooden muddler is not only practical when making a drink like this, but it has that rustic decor feel as well that you can leave out as a prop on your bar cart.
- Here’s a full cocktail shaker set that will have everything you need to get started.
- Need a cocktail recipe book? This one is the perfect starter book, plus it’s a great piece to leave out as decor on your bar.
Blackberry Smash – Cocktail Menu
This one’s easy to switch if you’ve got the core ingredients on hand! Technically, we refer to this as a Mexican mule (tequila and ginger beer). Don’t have/like tequila? Switch out the tequila for vodka or whiskey and you’re sure to please any crowd. This one even makes a great mocktail for your expecting guests.
